Hôtel Magique x Hotel BonSol: Artist Call & Update
This summer, we return to where Hôtel Magique began: with art. Together with Hotel BonSol, a destination filled with stories, inspiration, and sunshine, we invited artists worldwide earlier this year to create new works that capture the energy of Mallorca and hotel life.
The Artist Call
Hotel BonSol’s Natalia and Hôtel Magique’s Milou bonded over their love for art. This inspired the Call for Artists, inviting global creatives to submit works influenced by both hotels and Mallorca.
At both Hôtel Magique and Hotel BonSol, we’re not just about decorating walls, we want to inspire. For decades, Mallorca has been a haven for artists, a place that sparks the imagination. This collaboration and collection exist to transport people to Mallorca and Hotel BonSol, even if they’ve never visited.
The Art Legacy of Hotel BonSol
Hotel BonSol is a dreamy, family-run hotel in Mallorca, owned and operated by the same family for 3 generations. The founders were passionate art collectors, with a deep love for travel and the stories art can tell. Throughout their journeys, they acquired unique antiques from across the globe, many of which are still displayed throughout the hotel.
Selection Process
Out of 900+ submissions, 10 winners were selected to contribute to a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces and limited-edition prints. A panel of respected art experts reviewed the submissions.
Two of the winners will receive a 5-week creative residency at Hotel BonSol, starting in late September, including a 1-week exhibition in Mallorca.

Winners & Collection Launch: June 18
The original work by all 10 finalists, including the two residency winners, will be part of a curated online collection, launching June 18th through Hôtel Magique.
