“The painting of the pine trees, The Pine, was inspired by a late afternoon walk in the Villa Borgese park in Rome. I was captivated by the late afternoon light: a deep blue sky that contrasted with the orange light reflecting off the trees. It was very magical, almost surreal!

About 'Hidden Garden': "I love painting gardens. They are places of silence and peace. For me, they also represent the inner world, hidden within each of us.”

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am French and grew up in Paris. I have lived in Spain for 15 years, in a small village, Cadaques, where landscapes are a continual source of inspiration.

Why did you start creating art?

I grew up in a musical family. I've always felt the need to express myself through different arts: music, drawing, and painting.

What inspires you to create art today?

It was the wonder of nature's beauty that awakened my desire to paint. I love observing the light and shadows that cross the landscape, continually transforming it. I seek, through color and shape, to create spaces where a certain serenity reigns and where I can take refuge from the hustle and bustle of the world.

I love to paint outside, sketch, and immerse myself in nature, then bring my impressions and sketches back to the studio.
